Dear Friends and Family,
You are receiving this letter because you have at one time or another expressed interest in hearing about activities in which I participate as I pursue a career in vocal performance. This year has been a truly exciting one as I have been able to begin studies towards a Masters in Music at Western Michigan University. With all this excitement have come many challenges as well. It’s not easy being away from Dean and Bear during the week, but we have managed to make it work. Coming up this summer, are some even more exciting experiences. I will have the opportunity to further my studies in language, voice, and performance in Mexico and Graz, Austria with two exceptional programs. The program in Mexico is called Opera Maya and the program in Graz, Austria is called AIMS, the American Institute for Musical Studies. There are three ways in which I would also like to ask for your support as I embark on these experiences:
